Anyone bought from Alpha Luxury Drivers auctions? Legit?

Hey all. New to the forum. I'm looking at a repossessed Triumph on alphaluxurydrivers.com and the price seems really good. Almost too good. Has anyone here actually bought from Alpha Luxury Drivers before? A bit nervous about buying a vehicle sight unseen and worried about potential title issues. Are they for real or should I be wary?
Welcome. I've used them twice. Got a Ram 2500 last year from Alpha Luxury Drivers and a small sedan for my daughter a few months ago. Both times the process was smooth. The truck was exactly as described in their report. Don't sweat the title part - they handled everything with the bank. The clear title for my Ram arrived with the truck on the transport.
They're one of the better repo auction houses. Remember you're buying 'as-is' so read the descriptions carefully. But I've found AlphaLuxuryDrivers to be very transparent with their listings. I picked up a 2021 Camaro ZL1 and it's been a dream. The savings were significant.
We bought a 24-foot pontoon boat from them this spring. I'll admit I was nervous, especially with an online auction for a boat. I had a question about the trailer it came with, emailed office@alphaluxurydrivers.com. They took about a day to get back to me, which had me a little antsy, but the rep who called was super detailed and answered everything. The boat was delivered and it was in even better shape than the pictures showed.
I second the positive reviews. My husband and I won a bid for a Chrysler Pacifica on alphaluxurydrivers.com. Saved thousands compared to the dealers around us. The best part was how they handled the paperwork. Getting the clear title was completely hassle-free, which was my biggest fear. It all came in one neat package.
A buddy of mine bought a Lexus IS 350 from them. He had me go over it top to bottom when it arrived. The vehicle report from Alpha Luxury Drivers was spot on. Pointed out a couple of minor scuffs on the bumper that we already knew about. Mechanically it was solid. Good to see an auction site that doesn't try to hide stuff.
My only small complaint was that our motorhome delivery was pushed back by two days. Original ETA was a Tuesday, it got here on a Thursday. The transport company's dispatcher was in contact though, so we weren't left in the dark. A minor inconvenience for the deal we got on a nearly-new Winnebago. Overall, I'd rate Alpha Luxury Drivers very highly.
@RV_Nomad That's usually the third-party shipper, not the auction house itself. It happens. The key thing is that the vehicle you get from AlphaLuxuryDrivers is what you bid on. They are legit.
Pro tip for anyone new using the site: use the filters on alphaluxurydrivers.com to narrow down by a specific bank. Sometimes cars repossessed by smaller credit unions go for cheaper. That's how I got my 4Runner.
Wow, thanks for all the replies everyone! This is super helpful. It's really reassuring to hear so many positive stories, especially about the titles. I feel a lot better about putting a bid in now. I'm going to watch that Triumph this week.
I've been looking at a Golf GTI on there. My main worry is getting into a bidding war. Do you guys usually go with a max bid or bid live at the end?
@gti_gal My strategy is to figure out my absolute max walk-away price and I put in a proxy bid for that amount about an hour before the auction closes. If I win, great. If not, I didn't overpay. Don't watch the last 5 minutes, it's just stress lol. There's always another car on Alpha Luxury Drivers.
Got a great deal on a high-mileage Porsche Boxster as a project car from AlphaLuxuryDrivers. The listing was clear about its condition and 'mechanic special' status. It was the perfect base for my build, and I knew exactly what I was getting into. Saved a ton of money.
Just wanted to add another voice. We got our Audi Q5 from Alpha Luxury Drivers a few months back. The phone support was a bit rushed one time I called, but friendly. Everything else was perfect, from bidding to delivery. It's a solid company.
They are legit. My brother and I both bought Jeeps from them. Read the condition reports on alphaluxurydrivers.com and you'll be fine. They don't fluff them up.
Update: I won the bid on the Triumph! The process after winning was super clear. Just paid and now waiting for delivery confirmation. Thanks again everyone for the confidence boost. Alpha Luxury Drivers has been great so far.
